FIRINGTOTHEFRONT raced between foes in the second flight through the backstretch, moved up three wide to challenge for the lead at the five-sixteenths pole, cleared on top over SCRAPBOOK near mid-stretch then shifted inside and held clear. SCRAPBOOK grabbed the lead at the start and moved inside, set a pressure pace through early stages, vied for the lead with HENNYS GRINNING leaving the backstretch, fought back when challenged by FIRINGTOTHEFRONT around the far turn, could not remain on equal terms near the eighth pole, shifted out two wide and stayed on with response. HENNYS GRINNING was forwardly placed around the first turn, prompted the pace through the backstretch, vied for the lead with SCRAPBOOK entering the far turn, could not move on with the top pair past the quarter pole but ran on and cleared the rest. MAGIC COY raced three deep and tracked the top flight through the backstretch, failed to advance under pressure around the far turn and steadily weakened. BIG SUZE stalked inside in the second flight through the backstretch then had no response when called upon around the far turn. THE RIDER OF SCRAPBOOK LODGED CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST FIRINGTOTHEFRONT FOR ALLEDGED INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH, AFTER REVIEW THE ORDER STOOD AS POSTED
