Chart notes
HIGH FIRE trailed for five furlongs, responded readily when set down, closed with a burst of speed in the four path through the far turn and upper stretch, made the lead inside the furlong marker and drew off to win as much the best. PANAMANIAC away alertly, set the pace along the inside until deep stretch then was no match for the winner. STAR MABEE stalked the early pace, offered a mild bid in the four path into the stretch then leveled off. K FOR KATHY failed to menace. UCANTKEEPUP was no factor. SHORE OF EDEN pressed the pace two wide into the second turn then was used up.
