Chart notes
HAYNESFIELD HIT sprinted clear soon after the start, saved ground while setting the pace and drew off through the lane. LIBERTY'S FINALE settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn and finished with a steady rally. DOWNTHEMIDDLE DAN chased the winner while racing four-wide and failed to gain in the drive. TOUGH ROOSTER settled off the leaders from the inside, angled out nearing the three-sixteenths pole and finished evenly late. FIELD OF HOPE was off slow and hopped, raced unhurried early, moved four-wide through the turn, angled in nearing the three-sixteenths pole and did not menace. HE'S BANDIDO lacked early foot, raced four-wide through the turn and was not a factor. LAGO DE ORO was off slow then allowed to settle, raced six-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid. BULLET BAY settled off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn and weakened.
