EYES ON TARGET set the pace early, was off the rail into the lane, remained clear down the lane and held sway in the final stages. CARMEL CRUSH tracked the pace early, was in the three path into the lane while making a bid but had no final gain on the winner. ALEXANDER VALLEY raced back early on, was in the three path along both turns, raced in the six path entering the lane with a mild gain in the stretch run. ROYAL TRYST stalked the pace early on, was in the three path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch drive. SAILOR'S RETURN was bumped into the rail nearing the seven sixteenths pole, stayed on the rail along the far turn, was in the four path into the lane and moved up late in the stretch. CENTRIFUGE chased the pace early, was in the four path into the lane, made a bid in the stretch but weakened late in the drive.
