WHY BE CIVIL took command at once, stayed inside around the turn and widened under urging. BRAZILIAN BAY came out to press the winner on the backstretch, raced two wide around the turn then weakened. JANE was slow early, stayed inside around the turn and gained too late. FOXY HIYA stayed outside and gained late. ALEDA LUTZ wasn't far back along the rail to the stretch then tired. MUSICAL TIMES was outrun after a slow break.
