Chart notes
FOSTER HOPE vied inside early, shrugged off BARREL PROOF after three furlongs, and remained in command through the stretch under confident handling. NO COMMISSION got bumped by COMPETITIVE HERO at the start, pursued the leaders in the three-path to the top of the stretch, could not threaten the winner but dug in for the place. EMIT raced four wide around the turn, and was edged outside NO COMMISSION for the runner-up spot. KLEON broke slowest, raced three to four wide, and failed to factor. BARREL PROOF was sent up to contest the pace between horses after the start, vied outside FOSTER HOPE into the turn, could not keep up with that one past the five-sixteenths, and weakened. COMPETITIVE HERO stumbled at the start and recovered bumping into NO COMMISSION, was finished early, and dropped far back through the stretch.
