Chart notes
MOOJAB JR was allowed to settle early, made a four wide move passed the quarter pole, then kicked clear the final furlong to prove best under a drive. ANTARCTIC stalked the early pace three wide, then made a bid to take over leaving the three eighths pole, then moved over to the rail passed the quarter pole while clear, then drifted out leaving the furlong marker, held place late. FRED'STWIRLINCANDY was rated along early, made a three wide move passed the quarter pole, then was shut off leaving the furlong marker, then just missed the place. HARVEY WALLBANGER was well rated along the inside, then was boxed on the far turn, swung out three to four wide for the drive but had no rally. ARMCHAIR JOCKEY was allowed to settle while five wide down the backstretch but lacked a rally. DRAKARYS stumbled at the start, then went up to set the pace from the inside, then vied for the lead on the inside before giving way. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN CONCERNING THE STRETCH RUN AND ALSO THE JOCKEY ON #6 FRED'STWIELINCANDY VERSUS THE WINNER #7 MOOJAB JR FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AROUND THE EIGHTH POLE, AFTER REVIEWING THE REPLAYS THE OBJECTION WAS NOT ALLOWED, HOWEVER THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED #5 ANTARCTIC FROM SECOND AND PLACED HIM THIRD FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED
