Chart notes
CHIP CHOP was away alertly and quickly made the lead, was well handled on the front end, lead throughout and remained clear late under strong handling. HIPSTER was well placed while three wide, finished willingly in the stretch and was clearly second best. TEAM HUCKY was off a step slow and trailed early, rallied in the stretch and improved late. DOUGS MORNING PICK had good position throughout, lacked a late kick and went evenly. QUALITY MAN raced close up until the top of the stretch, then faltered. FU ROO allowed to settle while racing wide, failed to menace. FIRST SONG raced mid pack early, swung wide in the stretch and faded. LETSGETITSEVENTEEN was no factor.
