Chart notes
INK showed good early speed from the inside to set the pace and was well clear through the stretch under steady handling. LET US MAKE GOLD was unhurried early on, moved up five wide into the upper stretch, angled to the inside through drive and was no match for the winner. FAX stalked the early pace, was in tight quarters near the three eighths pole, raced towards the inside around the far turn through the stretch and had no final bid. IRISHMAN was slow early, angled five wide near the upper stretch and had no response. FORE ON SEVEN stalked the pace from the outside and weakened in the drive. STEADY EDDIE was forwardly placed early on and failed to sustain a bid.
