Chart notes
HYPERSONIC was off a step slowly, was hustled to contest the early pace with GRAY GEM, dueled with that rival through the turn, put away GRAY GEM inside of the furlong marker and had a late kick to prevail. KATZUMOTO settled at the rear of the field through the turn, mounted a sustained rally off of the turn and into the stretch to get second, but was not pressuring the winner. GRAY GEM contested the pace through the turn with HYPERSONIC, was on terms with that one off of the turn, tired inside of the eighth pole but did save the show. CONCUR settled toward the rear of the field, was four wide on the second turn and did not rally in the stretch run. POTENTE ALBA chased the pace through the turn, lost ground off of the turn and was empty for the stretch run.
