SECRETS OF MY SOUL was reserved just off the leaders from the inside, moved up to off a bid nearing the three-sixteenths pole, vied with SHELBY R. through a vigorous drive and proved best. SHELBY R. sprinted clear at once, raced off the rail while setting the pace, responded when challenged nearing the three-sixteenths marker, vied with the winner and just missed. LAKER JET lagged early, saved ground through the turn, angled out in mid-stretch and finished with a steady bid. BEE EINSTEIN chased the leaders while racing three-wide and gave way in the drive. LINCHPINS WAKE was off slow, settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and weakened. BOONESBORO BEAUTY was void of early speed, raced three-wide through the turn and was not a factor. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
