ABOVE AND BEYOND reserved off the pacesetters early, swept the lead at the quarter pole and widened through the stretch. MIDNITESWILDAGAIN steadied inside early, closed the gap through the final turn and made steady progress through the stretch to secure place honors. TAKE ME TO BATTLE dueled for the early lead outside of BIG Z, was quickly overtaken at the quarter pole and just held on for show. SHAKINOFFTHERUST last away and bid belatedly. KNOWENTOHOLDUM lacked a bid. BIG Z outsprinted to the turn and stopped. JOCKEY OBJECTION- An objection lodged by the rider of MIDNITESWILDAGAIN against the rider of ABOVE AND BEYOND alleging interference away from the gate was not allowed after review of the Stewards.
