GONE PREACHIN stalked the early pace three wide, moved four wide to bid into the far turn, edged clear nearing the lane then held safe late. COWBOY DON moved out five wide to bid outside the winner into the far turn, closed through the lane but could not run that one down. HOLIDAY JOKE forced the pace outside SMARTY GRIMES to the far turn and came up empty once headed into the lane. LIGHT BOUND BID improved position four wide but lacked a solid bid. SMARTY GRIMES was on a pressured lead inside HOLIDAY JOKE to the far turn and weakened. RUNAROUNDDANCING saved ground and had no rally.
