Chart notes
PEPE AND HEYWOOD , three wide down the backstretch, remained in the three path around the turn and drew away through the stretch while kept to his business. MOONZANO circled the turn, drifted wide entering the stretch, remained on his left lead, chased the winner and was much the best of the others. PET'S NIGHT , a forward factor in the two path down the backstretch, gradually weakened through the lane. RAEFORD , four deep down the backstretch, was taken to the two path on the turn and retreated through the stretch. CHICO CON ALEX , hugged the inner rail leaving the far turn and was outrun. STAR OF NORMANDY was outrun. BEAN POLE , steadied in close quarters along the inner rail entering the turn, fell back.
