Chart notes
MCGEORGE sat just off of the early pacesetter while three wide on the turn, came to terms with EL BEAUTIFUL inside of the furlong marker, switched leads and wore that foe down and kicked clear in the end to prevail. EL BEAUTIFUL set the pace through the turn, was confronted inside of the eighth pole by the winner and was tiring late but was a clear second over the rest. BLAKEFORD chased the pace on the turn while two wide and ran evenly in the stretch run, but did save the show. NACHO VICTORY was away a step slowly, chased the pace from toward the rear of the field and had a mild late bid in the stretch but was not affecting the leaders. SPEEDY TOM stalked the pace from a ground saving position but offered no bid. RUSSIAN DIPLOMAT had no speed early, chased the field from the inside and trailed throughout.
