Chart notes
FLIGHT TO SHANGHAI set a measured pace inside, drew clear on the final turn then remained safe through the stretch under steady pressure. SUIKO three wide early, went after the winner near the three eighths pole but proved no match. SAME MOON trailed early, advanced wide in the stretch and closed well without threatening. SWEET HOME DIXIE dropped back inside, made a brief bid into the stretch then flattened out. TAYLER'S CHROME pressed the winner outside to the far turn and gave way. MINER'S GEM saved ground, stopped after half a mile losing contact with her field.
