BOBBIES REASON stalked along the outside through early stages, launched a bid for the leader entering the far turn, cleared on top near the quarter pole, raced two wide into the drive, widened advantage under pressure and finished clear. SMART PEGASUS was allowed to settle in early stages while never far from the frontend, picked up the pace around the far turn, raced near the inside into the lane, sustained a steady bid through the lane and cleared second best. ULTIMATE CHALLENGE held a slim lead around the first turn, set a pressure pace through the backstretch, got collared by the winner midway around the far turn but stayed on with interest and secured a share. MEG AND CLAIR rated off the early pace, saved ground around the far turn and failed to respond. STAR'S DREAM was forwardly placed and rated just off the early leader, was ridden along two wide around the far turn, failed to move on then steadily weakened.
