Chart notes

MOONLIGHT BLUE sat just off of the early fractions, made a middle move on the backstretch to take the lead, was three wide on the second turn, was confronted by LINGUA FRANCA in deep stretch and held on to prevail. LINGUA FRANCA encountered traffic on the first turn, was in tight quarters leaving that turn and through the run on the backstretch, was four wide on the second turn while making a sustained rally, put pressure on the winner in deep stretch and just missed for the win, while a clear second over the rest. COLLUSION DELUSION was unhurried through the early stages, was three wide on the second turn, gained ground off of that turn but was outfinished in the stretch run, while holding for third. OH BE ONE sat just off of the early pace, was four wide on the second turn and did not offer a rally in the stretch run. ARCH ANTHEM led through the first quarter-mile, was confronted by the winner along the backstretch, was outrun on the second turn while two wide and gave way in the stretch run.
