Chart notes
UNION LEADER sat just off of the early pace, saved ground on the second turn while two wide, gained ground off of the turn, put away SATANTA inside of the sixteenth-pole and held on over an oncoming HONOS MAN to prevail. HONOS MAN settled in the midflight, was three wide on the second turn, mounted a rail bid in the stretch, pressured the winner late but just missed for the win, while besting the rest. SATANTA prompted the pace by MEGAMEISTER through the second turn, gained ground off of the second turn to take the lead, led inside of the furlong marker but was caught and outkicked by the winner. CHOSEN MOON settled near the rear of the field, was five wide on the second turn while mounting a bid but was outfinished in the stretch run. KALINE was unhurried early, was six wide on the second turn while gaining ground but weakened in the stretch run. MEGAMEISTER was hustled to set the pace through the second turn, was pressured on that turn and gave way in the stretch run.
