Chart notes
LIGHT UP THE DEVIL stalked the early pace four wide and made a three wide bid passed the three sixteenths pole, then slowly edged away late to prove best under a drive. CLIPPER COVE vied for the early lead three wide and was outfinished late while staying on gamely for the place award. BEBOP BABY was fractious in the gate, then vied for the lead on the inside, made a inside bid passed the furlong marker but hung late. LADY AVE was well placed towards the inside, then was boxed passed the quarter pole, then angled off the rail leaving the three sixteenths but had no kick. BOLD LEGEND was allowed to settle early, then was three wide passed the quarter pole and angled out in the drive and offered a belated rally. PLAY ON BECKY showed little.
