Chart notes
VELVET RIDGE raced two to three wide in pursuit of the early leader, stayed on determinedly into the lane, got by FRIDAY'S BEST near mid-stretch and finished going away. FRIDAY'S BEST sped to the lead out of the gate, held firm around the turn then was shaken up for the drive, could not hold off VELVET RIDGE near mid-stretch but stayed on for second best. SUDDENLY chased the pacesetter into the turn, saved ground into the lane and churned on for a share. BROOK IS GOLDEN raced off the early pace, saved ground around the turn and failed to kick on in the lane. AMANDAS LIGHTENING chased the early pace, urged three wide into the lane and failed to move on.
