Chart notes
ARITHMETIC raced off the pace inside, moved up between rivals on the turn, rallied in the two path in the final furlong, gained a short lead in deep stretch and held on for the win. ROYAL ASSET hopped and was off slowly, trailed the field, came wide for the drive, rallied late outside and was up for second in a driving finish. THE GREAT LOUDINI raced off the pace inside, moved up inside on the turn, rallied on the rail and dug in gamely to the end. BRIMSTONE vied two wide early, chased on the turn, re bid turning for home, rallied to a short lead past the furlong marker and then was outkicked. FREE FLAYME chased three wide, went four wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and closed belatedly. JERSEY JOE B vied inside for the early lead, shook free, dueled into the stretch and weakened. INDIAN BUZZ did not factor. NO HITTER chased four wide and faded.
