AWESOME THUNDER chased the early front runners into the opening bend from a wide stance, traveled wide through that turn, closed the gap along the backstretch, gained command at conclusion of backstretch be wearing down the leader and finished under a drive for the victory. LUCKY AND FAST stalked the pace while saving ground, rated in the pocket near the five sixteenths pole and rallied mildly along the inside to be gaining at the finish while securing the place. SWAY BACK WHEN rushed from outset to assume first command, led the field through the opening turn, was used up in the final quarter and salvaged the show.
