Chart notes
FAST BOB alternated for the lead along the inside, edged clear on the final turn and extended his margin under moderate coaxing. CALL FITZROY settled at the back of the field then closed well outside while no threat. BANANAS ON FIRE dueled outside for five furlongs and faltered. MY AMANJENA broke a step slowly, advanced inside then faded. START MEEE vied between rivals on the first turn three wide, eased back, stalked wide and weakened. STRUM AND PLUCK dropped back early and was never in contention. OPEN LENGTHS fanned four wide on the first turn, remained wide and stopped.
