BARLEY BOY bumped at the break with SAY WHEN, saved ground, advanced off rail late final turn, rallied outside to take over late. TAKINTHENITETRAIN advanced to force the pace outside on the backstretch, opened up late turn, held off inside rival stretch, gave way to winner late. BIG ROCKET MAN stalked forced pace inside, challenged along the rail passing the eighth pole, dueled, gave best, couldn't get by. TWO TERMS forced the pace inside, gave way in late turn, made a bid off the rail to mid stretch, tired. CAPTAIN JOHN stalked off rail, advanced mildly inside. SPIKED CIDER, sent early, pressured inside and out backstretch, gave way midway through the final turn. NEW YORK PROUD stalked forced pace outside, faded. SAY WHEN, bumped at the break, showed little.
