Chart notes
ASTRONAUT OSCAR broke readily, attended a rival's pace racing along the rail to the turn, pressed the issue to strike the front nearing upper stretch, was headed entering the lane while being brushed, then caught in tight quarters racing past the furlong marker but responded to firm left handed pressure to regain the advantage and edged forward in time in a game effort. EUROMANTIC broke readily, was urged forcing the pace outside the eventual winner racing into the turn, shifted inwards pressing the issue into upper stretch brushing the eventual winner, contested the issue to late stages while continuing to exchange light contact and was just outkicked. MAKE ME BLUSH tracked off the first flight between foes racing to the turn, shifted out four wide entering the stretch and continued willingly between foes to edge rivals for a share. MINE MY TIME tracked the pace inside foes in second flight, shifted out three deep racing into upper stretch and finished evenly late. CYRIL'S BOY tracked off the second flight while angling to the inside early, saved ground to upper stretch but had no final kick. J. E.'S HANDMEDOWN tracked the leaders outside foes in second flight, was fanned five wide into upper stretch and gave way. SKOL FACTOR, off slowly, was pulled up on the backstretch, then was vanned off the course.
