STORM ALFEET In hand along the three path, gained along the three path nearing the five-sixteenths, beat SLEEPY JOE to a small opening just before the quarter pole, split foes into the lane, quickly took the lead and under mild pressure proved best inside. BELLAGIO Broke slow, four wide leaving the backstretch to the top of the lane, chased outside in the lane and finished second best. SLEEPY JOE In hand along the two path, gained some inside on the final turn, appeared in tight nearing the quarter pole, waited, angled out and weakened. CANYON OF HEROS Vied for the lead along the two path to the quarter pole and weakened inside. BELLAMY'S TREASURE Vied for the lead four wide, three path on the last turn and tired. BAY DEFENSE Saved ground and tired. A claim of foul was lodged by the rider of SLEEPY JOE against the winner for interference nearing the quarter pole, was not allowed.
