Chart notes
PENDRELL MOON mid pack, gained position three and four wide through the second turn, bid four wide into the lane, made a steady gain and edged up late. CORT'N ASONG mid pack, gained a striking position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane and lacked the needed late kick. ORCHESTRAL stalked the pace on the outside, moved up to gain a short lead through the second turn, held that sway to the final furlong, then weakened and held the show. GOLD HAWK mid pack, saved ground through the turn, angled widest into the stretch, then flattened out in the late going. AWESOME HALO well placed, saved ground on the two path through the turns, bid on that path into the lane and weakened the final furlong. KICHIRO allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, bid on that path and improved position. DOUBLE RAINBOW was no factor. VINNY BOY sent from the gate, sprinted to a clear lead, then faded through the second turn.
