Chart notes
BARNEGAT LIGHT tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angle out three wide into the stretch, then made a steady gain and edged up late. FLIGHT TO PARADISE well placed, gained a striking position three wide through the second turn, gained a short lead into the stretch, then drew off and was outfinished. QUIET AMIGO sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then weakened late and held the show. PAINTSVILLE well placed and outside, gained position on the two path through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane and flattened out. HANFORD allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, angled out in the stretch for clear racing room and improved position. KING OF THE RING well placed and outside, held position three and four wide through the second turn, bid four wide into the lane and weakened. GOLD CZAR allowed to settle, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and improved position. BOURBON BROWN stalked the pace on the outside, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and faded in the drive. AJZAL mid pack, gained a striking position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path and faded in the lane. PRINCE AMADEUS was never involved.
