Chart notes
BUILT THAT WAY sprinted to a clear lead around the first turn, continued on top two to three wide through the backstretch, held firm around the far turn, given cue two wide turning for home, held a slim lead at the eighth pole, dug in, found more in reserve and pulled away. PATTY'S BOY tracked the pacesetter through the backstretch, launched a two wide bid around the far turn, sustained a steady effort in the lane and finished second best. AHSAD tracked the pace through early stages, saved ground around the far turn, remained near the inside through the lane and cleared the rest. THE GREAT CASBY raced off the early pace, hustled up around the far turn, raced five wide into the lane and failed to move on. POCOPSON STATION rated near mid-pack, urged around the far turn, raced three to four wide into the lane and had no response. HERO'S HOPE dropped back after the half and was easing up to the wire.
