Chart notes
GROUNDED stalked the pace from between, vied for the lead through the turn, edged ahead in the stretch, then drove clear late. SOCIETY BOY set the pace on the inside, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then could not threaten the winner late and held the place safe. RESIST THE DEVIL never far back, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and closed well for the show. TITRATE bumped by both sides at the start, looped four wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch and edged up for a share. HARD TARGET well placed and outside, lost some ground three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the lane and weakened. FULGURANT passed tiring rivals. MOCA MONSTER was a brief factor. LORD BYRON showed little. DEVILISH THOUGHTS was no factor.
