SHOULDA HAD IT rated outside the pacesetter, took over when ready on the final turn then held rival safe through the stretch. GALTERO settled off leaders inside, bid outside on the turn then drifted out in the stretch. SECOND LINE DAVID lagged far behind at the back of pack and closed gap late. DON'T THROW STONES moved with runner-up on the final turn then flattened out. PREFONTAINE chased outside and lacked a rally. REY O REYES set the pace inside, was collared midway on the final turn and gave way. WON THE BYNG raced between rivals early within range then stopped abruptly.
