Chart notes
CHRISTMAS was off a step slow, rallied down the backside between horses to reach contention, gained a clear lead on the turn, remained safe in the drive under firm handling. CANDLELIGHT HOURS pressed the winner throughout, finished willingly and was second best. QUALITY BET was well placed throughout, could not gain late but held show. MARIPOSA RAPIDA never far back, lacked a late response and went evenly. KENZIELU was off slowly and was no threat. CROSSED UP had good position early and tired in the lane. PACIFIC COAST contended until mid stretch then tired. PARFAIT was outrun.
