Chart notes
C'EST MARDI vied two wide for the early lead, dueled between rivals at the half mile marker, steadied at the three eighths pole dropping back a bit, re rallied outside in the upper stretch, put a head in front near the sixteenth marker and drew clear. ADHWAA raced four wide into the first turn, then tracked inside, moved up three wide to contest the pace, dueled past the half mile marker, shook free on the far turn, dug in gamely in the stretch drive and came up second best. LUNA QUEEN set the pace on the inside, dueled inside on the backside, dug in along the rail in the stretch run and then weakened. STRONG GEM raced three wide into the first turn, stalked three wide, gave way and stopped in the stretch. BREXIT REVENGE was outrun early and dropped far back. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the far turn run, the race was declared official.
