Chart notes
RUBY BLEU was forwardly placed two wide around the first turn, stalked the pacesetter through the backstretch, launched a bid around the far turn, engaged AUTOMATE for the lead at the quarter pole, drove to a slim lead in the upper stretch, dug in under steady pressure and edged away. AUTOMATE sped to the lead at the start and set the pace through the backstretch, came under attack from RUBY BLEU around the far turn, vied for the lead at the quarter pole, could not match strides with the winner in the upper stretch but stayed on with response and cleared second best. SOLAR WARMING was allowed to settle in early stages and raced off the pace, was ridden along four to five wide entering the lane, sustained a steady bid and got a nose up for show. SANCOCHO (MEX) raced off the clear top two leaders through the backstretch, was ridden along three wide into the lane and got nipped for show. BOYS OF QUEENS raced in the back then wide into the lane and never menaced.
