ADRIA held a slim lead around the turn, continued on top by a narrow margin into the lane, dueled with the winner deep stretch and failed to match strides nearing the wire. HIWAY EIGHTYTHREE broke alertly then conceded position to the top pair, raced in pursuit off the top flight around the turn, stayed on four wide into the lane and cleared a share.
