WITT'S TAQUITO had early speed inside, stalked forced pace inside, steadied mildly midway through the final turn when CITY CHAMP pulled up lame and lost his rider, rallied between horses to take over late, missed. WARRIORS HERO stalked forced pace outside, rallied between horses, was outfinished late. MAJOR SHEPARD had inside speed under pressure, opened up midway through the final turn, turned back an inside bid from STONE CAFE in mid stretch, opened a short clear lead, gave way late. STONE CAFE forced pace outside early, stalked forced pace between horses, steadied mildly on the final turn, advance to make a rail bid to mid stretch, was turned back. CITY CHAMP forced the pace outside, pulled up lame while moving to the lead midway through the final turn, lost his rider.
