Chart notes
ARCHER stalked the pacesetting duo around the opening turn from an inside pose, closed the gap on the leader inside the quarter pole, circled that rival at upper stretch and finished under a stiff drive for the score. KAY'S GRAY rushed from outset and set the pace through the opening half but was unable to fend off the rally of eventual winner in final furlong. CATCH THIS STAR lacked a closing kick after pressing the pace from a two path pose. OKIE NATIVE gave a god chase from a trailing position.
