Chart notes
DREAMERS REWARD was hustled to a short lead along the inside before going a quarter, dueled around the turn, moved clear into the final sixteenth and held under strong urging. MIDTOWN broke sharply for the early lead, dueled outside the winner around the turn and weakened in midstretch. ALPHA'S CANDY MAN broke slowly, lagged along the rail into the stretch then angled out while making a strong late run. SIMMONS was slow early, stayed inside around the turn and found best stride too late. DEB'S GUNFIGHTER was slow early, swung wide into the stretch and lacked the needed closing response. ONTOPOFTHEWORLD fell back early from between the top two, edged closer in the three path on the turn, ran out entering the stretch and tired.
