Chart notes
COUNTRY CLUB BOBBY raced mid pack early, dropped to the rail on the turn, rallied in the stretch on the inside and quickly drew off under firm handling. MOESTER pressed early, dueled on the lead, was no match for winner late but held place. THE PINK Z set the early pace, dueled from the quarter pole until mid stretch, weakened slightly late. WEEKENDER allowed to settle early, had a mild bid late. MAYNARD G. KREBS never far back, lacked a late response and went evenly. THANKSDAD broke slowly, had brief foot, then gave way. OLIVER'S ODDS contended early and gave way in the lane. STONE PALACE was hard to load, broke slowly and trailed.
