Chart notes
SUIKO set the early pace on the inside, then was pressed down the backstretch and headed passed the five sixteenths pole, dug in gamely in the stretch to be resurgent to edge clear by the sixteenths pole then held sway late, driving. WICKED MERCURY tracked the early pace and made a inside bid in the stretch but needed more. CHICK'S SHADOW stalked the winner three wide on the first turn, then went up to press that rival on the backstretch, made a bid on the turn and put her head in front but hung in the drive. PERHAPS TONIGHT (IRE) tracked the pace three wide, then came four wide into the drive but lacked the needed winning bid. ROCKSTAR GIRL was allowed to settle while four wide down the backstretch, then had no rally while on the inside and the stretch. MEMPHIS SHOWBOAT was allowed to settle early on the inside, saved ground to the quarter pole, swung out three wide and was empty.
