CADET CONNELLY well placed and outside, edged ahead down the backstretch, shook clear in the lane, then drew off and was kept to the task. VINTAGE KITTEN mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, bid three wide into the lane and closed well for the place. IN IT TO WIN unsettled in the gate, hopped at the start, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, came widest into the stretch and edged up for the show. HEAT OF THE NIGHT never far back, moved up three and four wide through the second turn, bid four wide into the lane, weakened late and held a share. RED CAT (CHI) sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged down the backstretch, then weakened the final furlong. ROYAL SUSPECT was no factor, inside.
