DACK JANIEL'S was hustled from the start, saved ground on the first turn, was rated just off the pace on the inside, came under urging with five-sixteenths to run, was driven into the stretch in the two path, dropped back to the rail around the three-sixteenths, chased the runner-up into the final sixteenth and got up under strong urging. CLAYTNTHELIONHEART was hustled from the start, went four wide on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, made a three wide bid on the far turn, led under a right-handed crop into the stretch, remained in front under a drive into the final forty yards but was caught while clear for the place. BOURBON THUNDER went three wide on the first turn, was reserved on the outside, came under encouragement while three wide on the far turn, was put to the crop nearing the five-sixteenths then driven four wide into the stretch, pursued the runner-up in the drive and was out-kicked while able to get the show. ARHAM went to the front, showed the way on the inside through moderate fractions, was urged along while inside on the far turn then lost the advantage to the runner-up, battled under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. SOUTHERN DISTRICT stumbled at the start, steadied while saving ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was roused while inside on the far turn, moved off the rail before the furlong marker and failed to threaten. BUSINESS MODEL went two to three wide on the turns and failed to threaten. DUST DEVIL went three wide on the opening bend, settled on the outside, was urged four wide on the far turn, came six wide into the stretch and failed to respond. MY FIRST GRAMMY was rated in the two path, came under encouragement on the far turn, chased into upper stretch and tired. YEARN FOR VICTORY went three wide on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the two path on the far turn, dropped back under pressure outside the quarter-pole and capitulated. CAMP HOPE moved in towards the rear early, went three wide on the turns and was no factor. AJAAWEED angled in at the rear of the field, saved ground on the turns and showed little.
