Chart notes
HOOKED A GOODWIN pressed early, dueled on the lead until the far turn, gained a clear lead at the quarter pole, drew off and widened late under steady urging MOST SANDISFACTORY raced mid pack early, rallied in the stretch four wide and finished well to be second best. VIGO raced close up until the stretch, then weakened slightly. FALCONS FURY was well placed on the inside and went evenly. LAUTREC was well placed, and saved ground, lacked a late response. VASARIANO was no threat. AWESOME OX set the pace and dueled on the lead for three quarters, faltered in the stretch. KULP was bumped at the start, had a middle move four wide, then tired.
