Chart notes
MIKI settled back in the three path the first turn then eased out entering the backstretch, bid past the seven sixteenths pole, steadily improved in the four path of the far turn and dueled to the lead mid-stretch, then drew away the final sixteenth. LIL TOUGHMAN broke awkwardly and settled well back from early contention, started a bid leaving the half mile pole, angled outward on the far turn and entered the stretch about the seven path, then dug in to take second later yards. CASTLE'S TUFFY stalked two deep then moved to even terms past the half mile pole, continued at even terms through the backstretch and put a head in front toward the quarter pole, contested the edge on the far turn, but was caught mid-stretch, flattened stride late and just held on for third. BLUE COLLAR BOY raced in the three path the first turn and settled off the pace into the backstretch, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, dug in through the lane and just missed third. NOBLE EL SID set the early pace inside, was met past the half mile pole and dueled at mostly even terms from that point, gave up the nod approaching the quarter pole, raced at a close disadvantage nearest the rail on the far turn then weakened from mid-stretch. ITSAHATTATACK settled off the earlier pace in the three and four paths, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole then weakened off the rail on the far turn. COBAN rounded the opening turn about the three path and settled off the pace, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, though, weakened at the rail on the far turn.
