Chart notes
RUNNER prompted the pace while on the outside early, advanced and challenged three wide turning for home, continued to vie past the furlong marker, drew clear late under pressure. RED MAMBA back off the early pace off the inside, moved out, ranged up to a forward position four wide turning for home, set down, could do little with the winner the final furlong, fully extended to prevail for the place. MONZZA closest to the leader while between horses, bid midway on the turn inside the winner, vied with that one through upper stretch, also could not keep up the final furlong, outfinished for the place. HOPE FOR CHANGE lacked early foot inside, moved out a bit late in the turn for the drive, went evenly through the stretch. PRINCE CARLOS last away, never menaced while four wide out of the turn. RIVER'S RAGING cleared early to the inside, responded briefly when challenged midway on the turn, gave way in the drive.
