Chart notes
LAKE SHORE DRIVE broke outward then sprinted clear, set a reserved pace then held sway under a drive. BEYOND BORDERS stalked the pace, closed along the rail and two-wide through the turn, launched a determined drive in the stretch and was gaining late. AZZURRO steadied at the start when LAKE SHORE DRIVE broke in front of him, raced in striking range, angled in from the third path to the rail on the turn then finished gamely. EXPO bumped with RACING IN THE RAIN leaving the gate, pressed the pace, chased two and three-wide on the turn then finished evenly through the stretch. JUST START ME UP settled off the pace, was hustled four and five-wide on the turn but never reached contention. FROSTY BREEZE hopped at the start then raced in mid pack, chased four-wide on the turn then flattened out in the stretch. RACING IN THE RAIN bumped with EXPO leaving the gate and settled off the pace, was hustled two to four-wide on the turn then lacked a closing response.
