Chart notes
SPEEDY HANS, at the back of the pack early, closed three and four-wide on the turn, tipped out upper stretch and launched a furious rally and got up late. AIM FOR THE SKY broke outward then showed speed, set a pressured pace, shook clear at the top of the stretch but was caught nearing the wire. RITMO DE CUECA (ARG), off slowly, stalked the pace, chased into the stretch but was blocked upper stretch and chased when clear. SEAU, at the back of the pack, was hustled four and five-wide on the turn then chased gamely through the stretch. TORONTOTORO ducked in and steadied at the break, forced the pace, chased hard into the stretch and evened out. PARMIGIANO, off slowly, raced from off the pace, was hustled two-wide on the turn, was blocked at the top of the stretch and had no late response. FLYING CURLIN forced the issue early, chased three and four-wide up close on the turn, chased into the stretch but lacked a closing response.
