Chart notes
SPIN DOCTOR stalked the pace into the stretch, responded readily when set down, rallied four wide to make the lead inside the furlong marker and finished full of run to win going away. SUSIE'S KID pressed the pace three wide to the top of the stretch, made the lead then was no match for the winner. EL MARRO pressed the pace two wide until deep stretch then was outfinished. RIDGE WEST failed to menace. QUALITY MAN away alertly, set a pressured pace to the top of the stretch then weakened. CAT HEAT had speed through the turn then gave way. KASAMOUNT threw his head then hopped and the start, was never close and pulled up in the stretch then was walked off.
