EXCULPATORY vied inside of SHADOW MATTER for the early lead, shook free in the stretch run, dug in gamely under pressure and held firm. ROLLING FORK tracked up close in the opening quarter, launched a three wide bid into the lane, sustained a steady bid through the lane and gained second best. THERIDEOFALIFETIME settled not far off the early pace, hustled up five wide into the lane and sustained a steady effort through the lane. SHADOW MATTER vied outside the winner around the turn, remained up close in the upper stretch then gave way. HE'S IN CHARGE raced in range, urged inside at the head of the lane and needed more for impact. PICO D'ORO settled off the second flight in early stages, hustled up five wide in the lane and failed to respond. MARVALOUS MIKE was forwardly placed around the turn then failed to keep pace in the lane.
